Keep reading for our full review.
The Look of Hutton Hotel
Hutton Hotel is housed in a white and gray high-rise building, but don’t be fooled by its somewhat ordinary exterior. The open-concept, design-forward lobby has a contemporary look and feel, complete with plush seating, dark wood wall paneling, a crisp neutral color palette, and bold artwork. House plants add a pop of green while bringing the outdoors in. The bright and airy ground-floor restaurant, Evelyn, serves classic American cuisine with a Southern twist — think Nashville hot fish and chips, confit bacon, and biscuits and gravy — in a stylish, art-filled setting that locals like to frequent. Meanwhile, Analog, the on-site music venue, has a cozy, living-room-like feel with cushy, retro-esque seating, plush velvet curtains, and jewel tones. There are also two on-site writer’s studios, each of which is distinctively designed: West Studio is decked out in Martin Guitars along with saltillo tilework and textured rugs, both of which add a Southwestern-inspired flair, while East Studio features Gibson guitars, dark wood flooring, plush seating, and an eye-popping green accent rug.
The hotel’s 250 guest rooms and suites are modern, with a serene color palette, granite bathrooms, and crisp white linens, though fun pops of blue can be found in the form of light fixtures and patterned carpeting. Dark wood writing desks are a bonus, and suites have all of the same amenities, as well as sleeper sofa-equipped living areas and floor-to-ceiling windows. For a true treat, splurge on one of the three penthouses, each with private balconies and crackling fireplaces.
